Accessing the Internet with a dial-up analog modem is by far
the most popular and affordable method for getting on the Internet.
At a minimum, you will need a 14.4k modem. If you are planning the
purchase of a new modem, consider a 28.8, 33.6, or 56K v.90 model.
Most websites today are designed assuming the vast majority of visitors
will have at least 28.8k service.
