Of course, the foundation of our services is our new, Tier-1 data
center. Built as a telephone central office, this $3 Million data
center provides the highest level of reliability available. Unlike
most data centers, our facility also serves as our corporate headquarters.
As a result, our personnel, including our President, sales people,
network engineers, web developers and technical support administrators
are all immediately adjacent to the data center. Whatever the issue,
all of our resources are readily available to provide the highest
level of response.
We’ve taken this facility, and our 11 years of experience
serving co-location customer’s needs and have created a variety
of complimentary services that go beyond simply offering a power
and a network plug like other providers. These include
advanced e-mail, security configuration, testing and monitoring
and system administration services.
Finally, there are differences in the type of relationship that
we will form with you. Our contract is simple, doesn’t punish
the customer and provides great flexibility for growing your services
without suffering outrageous overage penalties. The provisions in
our contract include:
- flexible terms,
- 30 day cancellation notice upon the expiration of the term.
Many providers require 90 day notices.
- No “Evergreen” clause. Many providers automatically
renew the term at expiration unless you give notice to cancel
within a specific window at the end of the initial term. If you
have a 2 year contract and don’t cancel in time, you are
stuck for another 2 years, at the same prices. Our contracts become
month to month contracts at the end of the initial term.
- Overages are billed in increments of Kbps rather than Mbps like
most providers. This provides 1,000 times more accurate billing
and can save customers hundreds of dollars a month by eliminating
the cost of rounding up to the next Mbps.
- Customer can increase bandwidth commitment in any month and
have that increased commitment applied to the previous month’s
bill. If your business grows beyond your allotted bandwidth and
you receive overage charges, you can upgrade your commitment and
not end up paying higher overage charges for the first month you
exceed your original commitment.
- The highest 36 hours of each month’s bandwidth measurements
are “thrown-out” and not used in calculating overage
charges.
