1. Click the start button
2. Open the control panel


3. If your screen looks like the image on top (category view), double-click where it says "Network and Internet Connections." If your screen looks like the image on the bottom (classic view) then double-click on the Internet Options icon.


4. If your screen looks like the image on the top, click on "Setup or change your Internet Connection." If your screen looks like the image on the bottom, click on the connections tab.

5. Click the "Setup" button.

6. Choose "Next."

7. Leave "Connect to the Internet" selected and click "Next."

8. Select "Set up my connection manually" and click "Next."

9. Leave "Connect using a dial-up modem" selected and click "Next."

10. In the slot under "ISP Name" type, "OnRamp Access" and click "Next."
11. In the slot below "Phone Number" type the phone number we provided for your area (see chart above). Click "Next."

12. At this point, you may see the above screen. If you don't, then move ahead to #13. Otherwise, select one of the two options based on your personal preference. Then choose "Next."

13. Type your user name and password in the slots labeled accordingly. Click "Next."

14. Click "Finish."
15. Now, to connect to the Internet, double-click the OnRamp Access icon on your desktop (or if you prefer, go to Start, choose the "Connect To" option and click "OnRamp Access."

16. Make sure the correct username, password and phone number have been inserted. then click "Dial."
